Setting the Spark: Podcast Interview

by | Nov 27, 2020 | Homeschool, Podcasts & Videos, Race

I recently had so much fun speaking to a couple of homeschool mamas from my own neck of the woods. I chatted Lorien Magnus and Destiny Kosarick, the ladies behind the Setting the Spark podcast, about the importance of recognizing and celebrating heritage.

In this conversation, we talk about:

  • Diverse curricula
  • What it is like for me being a person of color in the homeschool community
  • How to find (or start!) an inclusive homeschool group
  • The importance of learning about and celebrating YOUR specific heritage.

There is just so much goodness in this episode you won’t want to miss! I hope you love it, and if so I encourage you to check out some of the other podcast and video interviews.

You can find me on Instagram @heritagemomblog and check in with Lorien and Destiny @setting.the.spark.podcast. See you there!
