Charlotte Mason for All Podcast: Parallel Narratives

by | Oct 31, 2020 | Homeschool, Podcasts & Videos

“Charlotte Mason for All” is not only the name of a new podcast. ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣It’s a rallying cry! ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣In fact, the concept of Charlotte Mason for All is the sole reason I started Heritage Mom. ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣I feel this idea so much. ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣I pray that every mom feels that she can use Charlotte Mason’s principles in her home in a way that reflects Him (The Supreme Educator) and them (her children).⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣

The women behind this new podcast are kindred spirits, each approaching the mission from a different perspective and background but all in agreement that our collective work be done in truth and love.⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣

Drop in on my chat with Erika Alicea as the very first guest on the all new Charlotte Mason For All Podcast or check out Episode #4 on your favorite podcast app. In this episode, I share about:

  • My journey in learning to treat my children as born persons⁣⁣
  • Gaining confidence in following Miss Mason’s principles and methods in a way that honors our African-American heritage⁣⁣
  • Balancing out traditional studies along with the stories of people of color that fully represent the Gospel.⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣

Get ready to laugh and be moved all at the same time!

I am a new homeschool mom in New Orleans, LA. I have been studing, volunteering and musing with the ideas of homeschool and CM for 3 years and finally jumped in this year. I want you to know that you inspire me and I appreciate your words and your thoughts. You are a “mirror” for me, so thank you.

You are very welcome. I am really trying to be what I wished for but didn’t have when I started homeschooling, so it makes me feel really good to hear you say this.
